My name is Sean Kim and I was born and raised in South Korea where I served as a combat soldier before moving to Alaska. I graduated from Wayland Baptist University and received BS degree in Business Administration. During my time in Alaska, I met my wife, and together we have two grownup children. In 2005, my wife and I decided to trade in the snow for some sunshine and warmer weather which brought us to California which is a paradise for an avid golfer like me.

I have been in the insurance industry since 1984. In 2006, after moving to California, I opened my door to my own State Farm Insurance Agency. The reason why I have stayed in the insurance industry over 43 years is because of the relationships I have built with customers. I enjoy building connections and sharing my knowledge and experience regarding Property and Casualty Insurance as well as Financial Services. My team and I pride ourselves in educating customers and prospective customers on how to protect themselves and their families from the unexpected and how to prepare for their future.

Music and singing are some of my passions, in 2018 and 2019 as a member of the Greater Los Angeles Choir I performed at the famous Concert Hall in Los Angeles. I am still an active member of the Jubilee Choir in Los Angeles where I practice and sing weekly in preparation for our performances at Retirement Communities and Assisted Living Facilities in the greater Los Angeles and San Gabriel areas.
